Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cuttlefish
Clean and pat dry the cuttlefish thoroughly. Slice into even pieces for quick cooking.
Step 2: High-Heat Stir-Fry
Heat oil in a wok or pan over high heat. Add garlic, ginger, and chili. Stir quickly until fragrant (few seconds only).
Step 3: Cook the Cuttlefish
Add cuttlefish and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes only until it turns opaque and lightly curled.
Step 4: Season
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (optional), and black pepper. Toss quickly to coat evenly.
Step 5: Finish with Citrus
Add a splash of lemon or lime juice for freshness and balance.
Step 6: Serve
Garnish with spring onion and coriander. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
